Belief in Fairies
An author’s reminiscence about three incidents which led him to believe there might be something more to fairy stories than science credits.

When I get a place of my own, I’m going to do everything in my power to attract these wee folk. I’m gonna plant bell flowers, make sure everything is tidy, build faerie houses and maybe leave offerings….but I don’t want any unwanted animals to get near my house so that would be a MAYBE. I LOVE FAERIES! I believe, and will always!
My friend built his house on that land, and one day outside that ring of purple flowers was there. They never ppanted them. They were the kind that grew by themselves, not like roses. They were small. They grow every year in the SUMMER.
I have read a book about faires, and it said that faires can create rings of mushrooms and flowers. One day i went to my friends house and there was a ring of flowers there. No sign of faires. When i read the book i also learned that they liked raspberry jam, and my friend and I put some in the ring and the next day it was gone. That may be proof.
i do believe in faries and unicorn or pegasus’ and other unexplained creatures’ sadly i haven’t seen one’ i have only seen dwarf back home in the philippines’ when i was in 5th grade living in our house’ and half horse half human living in our humongous mango tree’ 99.9 percent of us believe in Devil why not these other creature eh’?

k assuming these incidents happen during the day what happens at night? can they be seen as shadows? or do they retreat
I saw fairies in Donegal this spring, just a couple of days after Beltaine. I woke up in a 400-year-old cottage because I felt someone try to move my head. I freaked out but went back to sleep. I woke up again at around 6:30, looked up and lo and behold, above my bed, there was a Tinkerbell-like winged figure, a twinkling light that remained there for a good while. I called my friend over to have a look so I could have a witness. We also have some missing time from that incident.
A few minutes walk from me some fairies evidently were seen some years back. Although the area is ancient and strange, I have encountered nothing, however I will not go near certain places after dark.
Very interesting. I know what you mean. I have had similar experiences. Thank you for sharing! I think it’s important to talk about these things because I think a lot of people have these kind of experiences but often we don’t mention it to each other. But I think it’s crucial that we give the nature beings attention and appreciation. Take care!

i wished i got to see a fairy i still belive in them i have many of thoose small flower that look like bells and they are purple and i mostly do everything to s they are in imy backyard or at least know that they are there its so hard
I cannot tell what sex it was, but I remember its limbs and it had limbs like a human, I think it was naked? Large wings, see trough like? I stood there and watched it disappear like nothing ever happened. I got in my car and said holly shit, that was a fairy?! I’m so confused now that it has sunken in, what the hell was that?
I don’t believe in anything, I believe that I am alive and thats it, humans right? But I have always seen weird shit, and I cannot explain it and I argue to why this happens to me. Yesterday after I got off of work I was walking to my car at about 1:50pm and BAM!!! As I was about to open my door I almost got smacked in the face by a fairy! I backed away and so did “it” also, it kept flying but I got a good glimpse of it, and Im still stupefied by this encounter.
I think they are demons!

I have had similar experiences. Thank you for speaking about this! I think it’s important to talk about these things. I love to listen to people’s stories because I honour peoples’ own experiences. anythings possoble. God could have put fairies on this earth. Or they could have a chemical reaction and make a new species.
i want to believe in fairies, especially the cute ones like the ones on Disney Fairies: Tinker Bell…. but i just can’t…. but i really hope they do exist
