Celtic women : last summer of the rose( walking in the air) i made this beautiful project for the people who loved my unicorn slideshow…thank you guys for your wonderful encouragment. i would not have made this with out you!

When I visited London nearly 5 years ago, we visited a studio and a young lad sang it there.
The original song is Nightwish - Walking in the air.

yeah, that sounds pretty cool. he term ’shee’ is sjut the pronounciation though. Its actually spelled ‘Sidhe.’ :)

I can’t decide who does this better: Celtic Woman or Aled Jones? I’m more inclined towards Celtic Woman after seeing this but I can’t be sure.

Infact the Irish believed that humans were not the orignal inhabitants of Ireland. The Shee (fairies) were. They merely went into the otherworld and let humans settle in Ireland. However sometimes they like to meddle in human affairs and they are said to claim certain parts of the landscape as theirs. A tree in the middle of a field, an anicent hill fort for example.
Here in Ireland some men hired a digger to level an anicent hill fort (which as said to be sacred to the Shee (Irish fairies). When it got dark they decided to finish the next day. However they could not leave the field the hill fort was in because they could not find the gate! They sat in the field all night and in the morn there was the gate again. They took the digger away. Never touched the hill fort again. Only happened a few years ago.
Words like good and evil are human conceptions, made up by us humans. We call something good when it feels good and we call something evil when it seems bad. But good and evil can change from day to day for us human beings! What is beauty one day can suddenly become ugly the next …
Very artistic and heartistic!!!! Love this song!!!!!! A reminder that fairytales are real. The fairies are my friends. I have met a few. Human beings need to respect Mother nature, then we’ll come closer to the fairy realms and the nature beings again…
