Do you know any fairy tales from different countries?

I have to compare 3 fairy tales (NOT Cinderella) from different countries for an English project. I can only find the american version of each story. So do you know any fairy tails from different countries? I know Cinderella has over 100 different versions but we aren’t allowed to compare different Cinderellas. Are there any other fairy tails like that? please include a link to the fairy tails too:) thanks!

yeah but mostly ireland

I’m Irish and we have loads of stories about the mythological Fianna (prounounced Fee-ah-nah), Tír na nÓg (pron: Teer-nah-no-guh)home of the Tuatha Dé Danann (pron:too-ah-day-dan-ann) who wre like fairies but more human-like do you want to know that one?
the main story is called Oisín (pron: Ush-sheen) in Tír na nÓg, here is the shortened version.
Basically there was this warrior called Oisín a member of the legendary Fianna, so one day this beautiful fairy woman named Niamh(pron:Neev) rode up to him on a beautiful white horse, she told him she loved him and asked him to go to Tír na nÓg (which literally translates to “land of the young”) he agreed, his father was really sad but he promised to return in three years. so he went to Tír na nÓg whch was essentially paradise, everyone was young a beautiful and happy, he married the princess (niamh) and they were happy until he remember his promise to his father, he begged Niamh to let him return and she tried to dissuade him but in the end she relented and gave him her horse, but she begged him not to set foot on the Irish soil. So he returned to Ireland and found it to be…strange…he wanted to find his father but on the way spotted three men trying to move a boulder, he from spending so long with the fairies or something was now really strong so he Lent over to help, but as he picked up the rock the saddle snapped and he fell to the ground, as soon as he touched the soil he turned into an ancient, wizened old man. Turns out 1 year in Tír na nÓg was 300 in mortal years and his family were long dead, he spent his final days telling anyone who would listen about his great adventures in the land of the fae and then he died…the end (Irish fairy tales generally don’t have happy endings)…hope that helped
