How to be good at telling fairy tale to children?

I would like you to give me any idea how i shoud act or speak in front of the children. It is my first time of sitting in front of many children and tell them a fairy tale. Thanks for your help. :)

change your voice accordingly for each character in the story
like a growling voice for a troll
or a high pitched one for a princess

at any climactic part talk a little faster
and at sad ones talk a little slower

and you can always add your own touches to the story
like if the troll says “who’s he” then you can decorate it a bit… like “uuöhhh whoo dis man??”

=) have fun!

do different voices for different characters, make them slightly funny if u can. put emphasis into almost everything you say. if something bad happens in the story go like “oh no how are you going to get out of that” stuff like that :)

Don’t make the voice too scary, avoid talking quickly and rehearse beforehand.

Your mom was once naked when she met your dad in the apartment then a giant mythical worm showed up and kept spitting nuclear acid out that in a wormhole in space and a nother worm named Conway Cl*tty ate it and you arrived and saved your parents from doing it again!

Have expression in your voice and face, and be enthusiastic.
