I want to make poly clay fairies for outside. Is there another way to make them last?

I make fairies out of FIMO and love it now I want some outside. I figure the clay will not hold up well, does anyone have any ideas, I have already made a mold now all I need is a stronger material or another method.

Clay, if it is fired, would hold up outside. Also, you could pour concrete into the mold. It depends on the type of mold you’re using and whether or not it could be broken away.

Hi:

You might visit the Compleat Sculptor site. They have all kinds of sculpture materials that you might find. I have seen a few sculpture materials you can use in molds that really sound like they hold up well to conditions outside, even some materials that can be used in fountains. Hope this helps.
