Why are fairy tales good for younger children?

I am in the school debating team and we are the negative team arguing over the fact that all fairy tales are scary and evil for younger children. I need some help on facts please.

i think they r good cuz it expands their imagination
and because they usually have a moral
and i think they r bad becuase some kids may think stuff they say on those tales r real like if they have talkin animals..

They teach children life lessons in an entertaining way. The child is required to see beyond the story to the true meaning of the fairy tale. It teaches children to project their thoughts beyond themselves.

most fairy tails teach a lesson in fun way so i guess that is why

If you are trying to argue that fairy tales are scary, then you will want to focus on the idea that fairy tales weren’t originally intended for children - they have very adult themes - cannibalism, murder, incest, etc.

Here is an example

for a growing imagination
to learn morals
