actually the tales were already designed with an evil stepmother from the beginning. it was mostly because the brothers grimm had a bad relationship with their stepmother which i was told.

haha when the tales were first published, it was the REAL mother who was always evil, but somewhere along the line it was changed and a horrible stereotype was born
isn’t it funny how fairy tales like to make step parents ( mostly woman ) evil. you got this one, Cinderella, Snow white. great story though
i like the story, but it’s too bad it’s not traditional Germanic animation, it’s like 1980’s jap animation.
