I like the story, but what about her mom o_o she’s the one who dearly wanted a child like thumbelina, then all of a sudden she’s gone like that. And Thumblelina never looked back at it o_o eh.

weird fairy tale, all animals love small human kids, a mole should be liking a other mole or a toad a other toad but no, all animals are horney over a small human.
They want to marrie her after just seeing her, hear her sing and see her dance but no one of the animals truly knows what she is like or what so ever. Even the king of flowers.

I wish the mother in the beginning had an explanation to all this. She must be crying her eyes out in worry, certainly not a happy ending for her.

I find it weird that a Thumbelina story never says anything about Thumbelina’s mother after the frog kidnaps Thumbelina. Isn’t she worried. The stories leave the children with disturbing questions about the mother.
